Afternoon Stroll in Gili Trawangan

Hey hey... It's Monday, Sept 5th, 2016, 4 pm, sunshine is warm, not burning my skin like few hours ago while we were on the boat. And you know what, it's perfect time to have easy stroll with your loved one. It's weird when you feel like you've had tons of activities, but not feeling tired at all. I guess we're too excited :D

Nasi Puyung

So we began from Intan Inn, walk west, we found a lady riding bicycle, selling Nasi Puyung for IDR 15,000.-

It's rice, diced beef with traditional gravy sauce, sauteed soy and green beans, wrapped in banana leaf.

Then we continue strolling west, stop for a while to see some hot guys having beach volleyball :p

Perfect view to eat with

Hubby is eating banana leaf :p Nah, it's Nasi Puyung

So here we are, perfect view to have Nasi Puyung. Once I saw the dish, I have imagined how the taste would be. "It'll taste similarly with meals from my place (Java)"
And surprisingly, no it's not hahaha... Taste so different, and I got my face kicked because it's way too hot and spicy! Alas we didn't bring water (even we're eating by the sea, but sea water? Errr.. seriously?) So we just sitting there and trying to cooling down ourselves :p

If you're still curious about the complete view, here's the short video I took: West beach view

We're full already, time to continue our stroll, and it's almost 6 pm, means time to see sunset. Stop here for a while, mingle with other travelers, and I can't stop taking deep inhale and exhale to see this beautiful view God has created.
Sunset - Gili Trawangan, Lombok

Time flies so fast, indeed. And now I feel a little hungry. So we walk heading east, while enjoying decoration from all cafe along the street.

Stopping by at Cookies and Cone

Now it's time for the big supper hahaha.. we choose Night Market, and it's like a big market food. You can pick any kind you like. Any kind of food and beverages. People are willing to wait on a long queue to get seafood, traditional buffet dishes (ramesan), beers. This view reminds me of food market on Thailand.

They sell only 1 brand for mineral water: Narmada

Bellies are full, feel recharged, and we stopped by to a snorkeling service. Register for tomorrow's snorkeling. So sorry we didn't take any pic of this snorkeling service booth. You can find few of similar booths along the street offering you snorkeling service. They also offer another trip like island hopping, trekking up to Rinjani (I'm not a mountain person, but maybe I'll try some other time), and trip to Komodo island. They tell you to meet up tomorrow morning, 10 am at their booth, to gather up and the captain will guide you.

Enjoying live music
A little tired yes, but my feet still want to walk, can't hold up my curiosity about this place. Is there any place we can stop by? The answer is so many. Then, something catching up my ears. Yup, it's a sound of a song I used to listen and sing too. Yayyy a band! A live music band :D Here, the first time I taste the deliciousness in a cup of coffee. Lombok Coffee!! A cup won't cause me trouble sleeping I guess... just a guess. So we stayed here for hours, before went back to Intan Inn to get some rest.
